Plateau State House of Assembly has renewed the extension of tenure of management committee of Barkin Ladi, Jos South, Riyom and Jos North Local Government Councils for the period of three months with effect from 10th July, 2020.  The Speaker Abok Ayuba, in a statement states that the management committee secretary of Barkin Ladi should act in place of the Chairman, pending the appointment of a substantive management committee chairman. The Vice Chancellor of Plateau State University, Bokkos, Professor Yohana Daniel Izam says the University has introduced the “equality criteria ratio” in its admission policy to cater for the needs of the University’s catchment areas.   Professor Izam disclosed this while interfacing with the Plateau State House of Assembly Committee on Education led by its Chairman, Hon. Eric Pianlat Dakogol who were in the University on an oversight function.
