PPA MOURNS JIMMY CHETO It is with deep shock and sorrow that members of Plateau Publishers Association (PPA), received the sad news of the passing away of Engineer Jimmy Cheto to the great beyond.  Chairman of the association, Shabul Mazadu, said Jimmy Cheto while he was alive has paid his dues at both the state and federal civil service leaving indelible footprints worthy of emulation. In Plateau Civil service Cheto was a former General Manager of Plateau State Water Board. And at the federal, he was Director City Infrastructure of the Federal Capital Territory Development Authority.  In the political scene Mazadu added, Cheto was an active politician having contested the governorship of Plateau State twice on different political platforms; Labour Party and the Peoples Democratic Party.  Mazadu said Cheto's demise is a great loss to the Taroh nation, Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole, as his wealth of experience as an engineer and politician will be great missed.
