Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Shehu Bala Usman has call on Muslims faithful to emulate the virtuous life of total obedience,love, peace, togetherness, Justice, and self-sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim as the celebrate this year Eid- el- Kabir.

 
The Chairman in a statement urged Muslims Ummah to use the occasion to extend hands of support and show of love and good neighborliness as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and upheld by Prophet Muhammad.

Usman said Eid el Kabir should be a period for renewing the spirit of compassion to fellow Man and sacrifice in the service of the
 society.

Usman regretted how Muslims will celebrate this years Eid el Kabir  amid prevailing COVID 19 pandemic calls for a sober reflection, especially on the many lives already lost in the country on the account of the scourge.

The statement adds, as the pandemic continues to ravage our people,it requires the concerted effort of all to combat it and half its transmission among our people. According to the Chairman this can be achieve if we all obey all the necessary protocols prescribed by relevant health authorities.

He assured of a peaceful celebration in Jos North as the Local Government was in touch with security agencies to ensure that all citizens celebrated the sallah in peace and harmony.

While wishing the Muslims Ummah a happy Eid el Kabir celebration noting that his administration and that of Governor Simon Lalong remain committed to bring the lost glory of the state.
