450 TRANSFERRED: KANKE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SENDS OF STAFF

KANKE LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL SENDS-OFF OVER 450 SENIOR STAFFERS IN A GRANDSTYLE.

The Executive Chairman of Kanke Local Government Council Hon Nde Emmanuel Lar in a chapel-filled farewell Messages today has implored the over 450 staffers transferred to other Local Governments from Kanke to go forth and make instant impact thereby be truly ambassadors of peace.

The Council helmsman invoked  Psalm 91 to let the staff know that the Lord will continue to guide and protect them. He also hinted that Kanke Local Government Area wouldn't have been where it is  today but because we have worked as a family; success has been greatly achieved. Nde Lar insisted that the good of all staff should be left behind and if they must Carry anything at all, it should be the bad part of it and throw away before reporting to new stations.

In his thought provoking sermon, the chaplain of the Council Pastor Martin Jacob Gombwir, who took his readings from the Book of 1samuel 12:1-, challenged the transferred staffers to settle their records with the council Secretariat and neighbours before leaving, saying, that some are debtors to neighbours and have taken what does not belong to them from the office/Government; reminding them all to do so now, for we shall give final account before God.

The man of God said, some who were full of wickedness to fellows by hiding sensitive files, who were wrongly or crudely  employed into the service, those who built mansions with unhealthy income, forged and back dated years of employment to gain rapid promotion, committed adultery/fornication, and have been living up above your legal monthly income should quickly repend and go as a NEW PERSON WITH A NEW SPIRIT.

Pastor Martin added that, Kanke Local Government Council is the only local Government Secretariat with a befitting place of worship/chapel, of all the 17 Local Government Secretariats on the Plateau and quickly beg all transferred members of staff to ginger the building of same through their good works wherever they are posted.

Highpoint of the send-off prayer was series of intercessory songs, and prayers led by the chaplain Pastor Martin Jacob and backed by the former SSA to Gov of Plateau State Rt Hon Barr Simon Lalong on Religious matters Rev Dr Polycarp Jurbe Success attended by all executive council members, Leader and members of the legislative Arm, Directors of various Departments of the council, Newly posted staff and many well wishers.

Kanke Local Government council now will have additional 547 new staff to work with the ones already on ground.

The event, which took place in a vibrant hall in Gora, began with a simple ball of yarn passed from hand to hand, weaving a visible web of connection among the 100 selected widows. These women shared the experience of losing their husbands to violent attacks. This was not a craft lesson, but the opening act of a profound tra...
