I appreciate and admire what Dara Jonah Jang has achieved in his lifetime and i admonish every Plateau patriot to give Honour to whom Honour is due rather than falling into the callous hands of our adversaries by cleaning our dirty linen in public. SENATE CONCURS FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION PANKSHIN ESTABLISHMENT BILL, AWAIT PRESIDENTIAL APPROVAL. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, is making good his promise to ensure that Federal College of Education, Pankshin takes off fully as University of Education before the end of his tenure in 2023. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Plateau State University, Bokkos, branch has elected new officials to pilot the affairs of the union for the period of two years. Dr. Monday Hassan Zitta emerged as the branch Chairman. In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Dr. Zitta said he is very much aware of the responsibilities placed on his shoulder and solicited the support of members of the union to enable the new Executives to succeed in carrying out the task ahead of them. GOVERNOR LALONG SHOCKED OVER DEATH OF PLATEAU HOUSE MEMBER, HON. HENRY LONGS  Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong is saddened by the death of a serving member of the Plateau State House of Assembly Hon. Henry Soembis Longs who died shortly after undergoing surgery. Untill his death, Hon. JOS PRISON ATTACK:PRISONERS ESCAPE, ASSAILANTS KILLED, SITUATION UNDER CONTROL The latest information on Jos Correctional Centre attack reveals that some prisoners escaped, while some of their liberators lost their lives and most of them are trapped in Correctional Centre by joint security operation of the Operation Safe Haven, which surrounded the prison and its environs.  Sources from the prison said the attackers succeeded in freeing some of the inmates and have lost their lives in the process while most of them are trapped with no exit routes; and have ran out of ammunition leading to cease fire on their side.  A source hinted that one of the escapees or attackers was beaten to a pulp in Jenta Adamu, Jos.  It is said according to the sources that the gun duel has stopped.
