PLASU ASUU ELECTS NEW EXCOS

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Plateau State University, Bokkos, branch has elected new officials to pilot the affairs of the union for the period of two years.

Dr. Monday Hassan Zitta emerged as the branch Chairman.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Dr. Zitta said he is very much aware of the responsibilities placed on his shoulder and solicited the support of members of the union to enable the new Executives to succeed in carrying out the task ahead of them.

He promised to pilot the affairs of the Union in a diginify manner and pledged to run a transparent and accountable leadership that would responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of members who voted him and other Executive members to pilot the affairs of the union.

Also, Comrade Dung Vincent Choji branch Vice Chairman, while Comrade Samson Deme Bitrus retained his seat as Secretary.

Other officials are Comrade Lomkat Iliya Kopdiya, Assistant Secretary, Comrade Dr. Wuyep Solomon Zitta Financial Secretary, Comrade Dombin N. Amos, Investment Secretary, Comrade Dr. Daniel Datok Dalyop, Welfare Secretary while Comrade Emmanuel Elisha Danboyi, Internal Auditor.
