WHY AMERICA NEEDS MORE TOLERANCE TO END RACIAL CONFLICTS, NOT MORE LOVE. Maybe we went about it the wrong way. BY  Gershom Umar Following recent events in America –the reported killings of black people around the country, police brutality and the #BlackLivesMatter movement — it has become imperative that we go back to the drawing board to better understand why all of these seem to be happening now. Over the last 400 years, the African  Americans living in America have had to endure amongst other types of oppression, a systemic oppression. Their whole lives are left at the mercy of the prevailing politics of the time. It began with the slave trade. During that time, after a lot of back and forth, through a combined effort of effective activism, international outcry and moral awakening, it made sense to the leaders of the free world, to abolish the slave trade. But then that left a question of what next to do with these slaves turned free folks. So, although slave

They are also not teaching what Allah and his Holy Prophet commanded. They are rather destroying Islam. It may be subtle, but Allah the Lord of the skies and earth knows whatever is hidden. May Allah promote Islam. May we die as Muslims.” In a nutshell, we are behind what happened in Katsina,” HumAngle quotes him as saying. A top commander of the sect also

PDP MOCKS APC OVER BOTCHED MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says the All Progressives Congress (APC) abandoned its much hyped membership drive because Nigerians did not show any interest in the exercise following the manifest failure of the APC and President Muhammadu Buhari. This is reinforced by the fact that the APC has become defunct and can no longer engage in legitimate political activities given the collapse of its structures across the federation. The APC has already gone down in history as a jinxed party that is synonymous to failure, deceit, falsehood, lies, lawlessness, treasury looting, poverty and hardship, sympathy for terrorists and bandits, mortgaging of our national sovereignty, among other vices, which makes it impossible for any well-meaning Nigerian to seek to identify with it. Given their impunity and arrogance, nobody wants to join the APC which has become a derelict pirate ship, stranded and doomed in rough waters and only waiting for its final decent into political abyss.  B
