PLATEAU IPAC GETS NEW EXECUTIVES 

Plateau State chapter of  Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria (IPAC) Monday re-elected, Abubakar Ishaq Dogara as it Chairman. 

The State chapter of IPAC conducted elections as presided over by its national officer, Alhaji Lawal Musa, that served as the  Secretary of the election committee.

He said elections into all positions were unopposed, adding that all based on the situation in ground, Hon. Abubakar Dogara of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), is returned unopposed.

"Hon. Abubakar Dogara (SDP), is hereby declared as the Plateau State chairman of IPAC, while Hon. Sabastine Pyoklam (PRP), is returned as Secretary, "he said.

According to him, Hon. Raymond Ibrahim (YPP), emerged as deputy chairman, Hon. Jamilu Hassan (AAC) is returned as Assistant Secretary, whereas Hon. Akpi Emerson (NRM), emerged as Publicity secretary.

He said, Pastor Mikel James (Accord), is returned as Organising Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Mani (APGA), emerged as Financial Secretary, while Hon.  Kingsley Kanu (A.A), whereas, Hon. Grace Zamfara (LP) was returned treasurer, respectively.

Alhaji Musa, described the process as free, fair and credible, he commended the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as well as the Resident Commissioner in Plateau State, for providing them all the necessary support.

He said: "People should understand that IPAC, is not just an opposition organisation, but that it is meant to  pursue good governance, advacing governments at all levels to provide the desired leadership that will develop the people."
