GOVERNOR LALONG REVALIDATES APC MEMBERSHIP, INSPECTS PROJECTS  Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State on Thursday 4th February 2020 revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his polling unit in Ajikamai, Shendam LGA of Plateau State.  Governor Lalong who registered alongside his wife Mrs. Regina Lalong and daughter Stephanie  decribed the process as another great opportunity for members of the party to demonstrate their faith and love for the party and also bring in more members into their fold. ZULUM REFORMS ALMAJIRI SYSTEM, BORNO TO GET 27 HIGHER ISLAMIC COLLEGES   Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum on Monday declared open, a three-day public hearing for collation of stakeholders' input towards the complete reformation of Almajiri traditional Islamic education system in Borno State, where the system is known as Tsangaya.  The public hearing, which had in attendance Islamic clerics who either founded, managed, or taught in traditional Almajiri system, was organized by a high powered committee established on November 19, 2020, by the Governor, with the mandate of reforming the Almajiri system. GOVERNOR LALONG MEETS APC NATIONAL REGISTRATION COMMITTEE FOR PLATEAU STATE, OPTIMISTIC OF MORE MEMBERS WILL JOIN PARTY . The APC National registration and revalidation Committee for Plateau State has visited Governor Simon Bako Lalong to brief him on the preparations for conducting the exercise in the State. Chairman of the Committee Hon. Musa Mahmood said the Committee is committed to conducting the exercise within the guidelines issued by the party and will supervise the conduct in all the local governments to ensure that the registration and revalidation is credible and hitch-free. PLATEAU PUBLISHERS EXCO VIST EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN PSIRS. Plateau Internal Revenue Service (PIRS), is fully set to honour those that are consistent in paying their taxes. GOVERNOR LALONG VOWS TO SIGN DEATH WARRANT FOR CONVICTED KIDNAPPERS AS HE SWEARS IN PRESIDENT, CUSTOMARY COURT OF APPEAL & 5 JUDGES. Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has vowed to sign the death warrant for anyone convicted for kidnapping in the State.  Governor Lalong stated this on Friday 29th January 2021 when he swore in the substantive President of the Customary Court of Appeal Bar.
