PLATEAU APC ELECTION, DR. NENTAWE YILWATDA EMERGERS VICTORIOUS  By Justin Jattim Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has been declared winner of the just concluded All Progressive Congress (APC) Primary Election held at Langsfield, Rayfield Jos on Friday having scored 803 votes to beat three other aspirants.  After an intensive yet unfair election to most aspirants, a walkout of disagreement to an unjust election took place. Unhappy aspirants with no comment staged a walkout on the electoral process with some withdrawals to participate in what was seen as a “Rigged” electioneering process. According to the Chairman of the Electoral Committee Hon. Habu Ajiya, Nine Aspirants were in the race but five Aspirants later sent their letters of withdrawal from the contest. Beni Clinches PDP Ticket The Incumbent Honorable Member Representing Langtang North and Langtang South Federal Constituency, Beni Butmak Lar has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), primaries for the constituency. Honourable Lar polled a total of 70 votes to defeat her rivals Mr. Gidoen Nanden who scored 1 vote while 3 delegates were absent at the voting center. Christians stage peaceful protest in Ibadan. CAN President demand justice for those whose have lost their lives through religious intolerance A group of Christian faithfuls in Ibadan have staged a peaceful protest demanding that the perpetrators of the  alleged killing of Deborah Yakubu in Sokoto state be brought to book.  They are also demanding that other Nigerians who have lost their lives due to religious intolerance be given justice. Goodluck Jonathan makes U Turn joins APC in Bayelsa, finally accepts presidential nomination forms from Fulani group Former President Goodluck Jonathan has decided to run for president in 2023, barely 48 hours after disowning a nomination form procured for him by a northern group. Mr Jonathan had on May 9 rejected presidential expression of interest and nomination forms of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) bought for him by a Fulani group. He later visited APC chairman Abdullahi Adamu, a shuttle his aides said was to distance himself from the purchase.
