NIGER SSG MOURNS SARKIN SUDAN KONTAGORA, DESCRIBES HIM AS A PROMOTER OF PEACE AND UNITY The Sarkin Sudan, Kontagora in Niger State, Alhaji Saidu Namaska, has passed on. He died today, Thursday, 9th September, 2021 at the age of 84. The monarch who until his death was the Vice-Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers spent 47 years on the throne having ascended to the stool in 1974 as the sixth Sarkin Sudan, Kontagora.
