Panic in Niger As Top stakeholders Shun Guber Zoning , Says 2023 Gov can come from anywhere

There is serious panic in the Niger state governorship race  on the alleged zoning arrangements as politicians trooping out from the major 2 zone contesting for the number one seat of the state come 2023

Speaking to this popular online newspaper was an activist from Minna Alhaji Suleiman, who said despite the  alleged one sided arrangements to produce the next governor from the Niger south Zone A nupe speaking dialect area with few stakeholders, politicians came out in full disagreeing with the arrangement saying zoning is not sacrosanct but a gentlemen arrangement he said

Source who told this paper said what the power state need at the moment is to search and produce a credible candidate who will take the power state from grass to grace

In Lapai a politician who spoke to this newspaper on anonymity conditions said zoning has politically damage a lot of thing therefore he believe issue of zoning should be totally remove he said

In Suleja emirate, many are gunning for the gubernatorial seat  including the incumbent rep member representing Suleja, Tafa and Gurara federal constituency and one of the top and frontline politician Engineer Abubakar Garba Ibrahim Dodo and many are speculating to come out for the race

In Zone A numbers of politicians are equally out looking for the seat including the former sport minister Engineer Ndanusa and others
