GOVERNOR ABUBAKAR SANI DEBUNKS ONLINE PUBLICATION TO JETTISON ZONING SYSTEM TO PREFERNCE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state has debunked online publication that he will jettison the zoning system in preference to a more qualified candidate.

By Abubakar Ibrahim

This is contained in a statement signed and issued to Newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary Mrs Mary Noel Berje in Minna.

Alh Abubakar Sani Bello maintained that as a law abiding member of the All Progressives Congress APC he will not descend low by going contrary to what the party has laid down.

According to him it is the party in Niger state that has the responsibility to decide how his successor will emerge and not him.

He said as a loyal party member he is bounded by the APC modus operandi after all he had benefitted from the system.

Alh Abubakar Sani Bello stressed the need for media to always cross check their facts before publication or going on air to enhance it's credibility.

The Governor however added that the constitution of the party  is supreme and that he will abide by its tenants and other resolution of APC to achieve greater heights.

Meanwhile source hinted that the 2 zone Niger East and Niger South are seriously gunning for governorship race, but political analyst putted that if Apc want to get it right they should zone it to the Niger East because that were the zoning started and it has gone round in every ramifications, zoning or not zoning Niger east the Zone B is politically ripe to produce the next governorship leadership in the state

We gathered that with any foul play APC in Niger may not find it easy as aggrieved politicians may dump APC, best watch out
