PLATEAU PUBLISHERS EXCO VIST EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN PSIRS. Plateau Internal Revenue Service (PIRS), is fully set to honour those that are consistent in paying their taxes. This was made known by the Executive Chairman of the Service, Mr. Dashe Arlat, when some EXCO and BOT members of Plateau Publishers Association (PPA), led by their chairman, Shabul Mazadu, paid him a visit in his office today.  Dashe said PIRS will honour the committed tax payers as a means of encouragement and appreciation, saying all those that perform well in what they do deserve to be appreciated, honoured and encouraged to do more. GOVERNOR LALONG VOWS TO SIGN DEATH WARRANT FOR CONVICTED KIDNAPPERS AS HE SWEARS IN PRESIDENT, CUSTOMARY COURT OF APPEAL & 5 JUDGES. Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has vowed to sign the death warrant for anyone convicted for kidnapping in the State.  Governor Lalong stated this on Friday 29th January 2021 when he swore in the substantive President of the Customary Court of Appeal Bar. (DR) SIMON BAKO LALONG, KSGG AT THE SWEARING IN OF THE PRESIDENT, PLATEAU STATE CUSTOMARY COURT OF APPEAL AND NEW JUDGES OF THE HIGH COURT/CUSTOMARY COURT OF APPEAL HELD AT THE NEW GOVERNMENT HOUSE, LITTLE RAYFIELD JOS, 29TH JANUARY 2021. The Plateau Club 1921 has been closed down not as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.   Results threating Peace and Security in the Club between a few members of the Club and the members of Board of Trustees (BOT), situation came to near crisis 24th January, 2021 when some  individuals insisted on holding an Emergency General Meeting to oust the Caretaker Committee which was duly constituted by the BOT.  Sensing an intimidating foulplay arising against the Board of Trustees and members in support of the BOT, Caretaker Committee drafted security men to keep surveillance over the Club. GOVERNOR LALONG SECURES LICENCE FOR RAPID ENROLMENT OF PLATEAU CITIZENS TO NATIONAL DATABASE. Following the challenges faced by citizens of Plateau State in enrolling for the National Identity Number (NIN) as a result of few enrolment centres, Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has secured the licensing of Plateau State as a service provider for the enrolment of Nigerians residing in the State. The approval which was conveyed to the Governor by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy through the Director General of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr.
