TAROK YOUTHS CALL ON NANMWA GODWIN KUMZHI TO RECONTEST FOR CHAIRMAN OF LANGTANG NORTH.

By Lohchang Dandam,Jos.
Hon Nansel Nanchang the National President of Tarok Youths for Democracy and Development (TYDD) has on behalf of the Twenty Five Thousand Tarok Youths for Democracy and Development across Langtang North, Langtang South, Wase, Kanam, Mikang, Shendam and Qua'an-Pan Local Government Areas of Plateau State has called on Hon Nanwa Godwin Kumzhi, the Chairman of the Langtang North LGC Transition Implementation Committee to recontest for the Chairmanship position of Langtang North LGC in the next coming LGC elections to be conducted by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC).

The call was made in a press release made available to a select media houses in Jos on Thursday 5th July 2024.

The TYDD urged the people of Langtang North LGA not to miss another laudable opportunity of the experience and the massive developmental strides of Hon Nanwa Godwin Kumzhi in the last eight months in office by voting him massively if he indicates interest to recontest.

Hon Nansel Nanchang, the National President of TYDD called on the Tarok nation to reject people who have been in office for over 16 years, yet feel that no new crop of politicians should emerge in Tarokland.
Nanchang said “we are aware of the wicked rumours and Ill feelings, a group of politicians who feel Langtang North and South belongs to them, are peddling in beer palour that Hon Kumzhi spent council funds recklessly, suspended traditional rulers and bought a house in London. These are not true but the handiwork of evil politicians who want to remain in power perpetually".

TYDD President also frowned at the politics of bitterness being bandied by a section of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Langtang North LGA who recruit dissenting voices to castigate the Chairman of the LGC just for the political mileage.
He said it is wrong to buy beer for drunks in beer palours to demarket a PDP LGC Chairman and this can be treated as anti party at the appropriate time at the state level.

Hon Nansel Nanchang thanked His Excellency Barr Caleb Mutfwang, the Executive Governor of Plateau State and the Leader of the Time is Now Administration for the confidence reposed in Hon Nanmwa Godwin Kimzhi who has achieved a lot in the short stay in office as TIC Chairman of Langtang North LGC.

The President of TYDD assured that if the PDP gives the PDP Chairmanship slot to Kumzhi, the race for the LGC seat will be easily won as the youths are behind Kumzhi because he is a youth friendly Chairman.
