QUA'AN-PAN COUNCIL INSPECTS NEW HOSPITAL IN KWANDE PREPARATORY FOR COMMISSIONING
As preparations towards the official commissioning of the Peter Bawa & Anna Memorial Hospital, Kwande in Qua'an Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State, the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon Ernest Abner Da'a undertook an assessment tour of the facility on Tuesday August 23, 2022.

The tour, at the invitation of the Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Peter Bawa & Anna Foundation, the owners of the Hospital, Dr. Godfrey Bawa, saw the Council Chairman, represented by his Deputy, Hon. Helen Henniet Wapmuk, inspecting facilities at the hospital preparatory towards its official take off in October this year.
Accompanied by Council Secretary and supervisory councillor for Health Hon. Jonas Dasok and some council members, the Chairman's team was taken round the facility by Mallam Jabiru Ahmed,  who represented Dr Bawa during the facility tour.

Speaking after the facility tour, the Local Government Council commended the Foundation and those behind it for such laudable initiative, adding that, "having such laudable interventions projects from the private sector, with emphasis on health care, gives our rural people succour in having access to good health care delivery".
The Chairman pledged the Council's  readiness to support the giant contributions of the Foundation.

Responding, Dr. Bawa thanked the Council Chairman and his team for the visit, and described it as one which strengthen their zeal to do more for the people.
He informed his Guests that the  initiative and decision to cite the hospital at his hometown of Kwande District is their own way of giving back to the Society they come from.
