QUA’AN-PAN COUNCIL CHAIRMAN INSPECTS ONGOING PROJECTS, TASKS CONTRACTORS ON TIMELINE The Executive Chairman Qua’an-Pan LGC, Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a has emphasized the significance of  meeting timelines in the execution and completion of projects by contracting firms. Rep. Lar:  House of Rep. Resolves to Urgently Intervene in Communal Clashes in Langtang North The House of Representatives has directed its committee on Inter-Governmental affairs to liaise with the institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution and other relevant agencies to intervene in the recurring communal clashes between the Kumbwang and Langyit clans in Langtang North Local Government Area over land dispute. The House's plenary was presided by the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Maje, the House manadated the committee to intervene and report to the House its findings to the House within two weeks for necessary action on the matter. TRIAL CENSUS: QUA’AN-PAN COUNCIL ASSURES OF GOVERNMENT SUPPORT The Management of Qua’an-Pan LGC, Plateau State, has assured that it will not relent in providing adequate support for the success of the 2022 Trial Census exercise. The Executive Chairman, Hon. Ernest Abner gave the assurance Da’a, on Tuesday July 19, 2022, while addressing the National Population Commission (NPC) Team in his office at the Council Secretariat. Represented by the Secretary to the Council, Hon. Gideon Godenaan Dashe, Council Chairman assured that the Local Government will provide the needed support to ensure that the team carry out their assignment successfully and urged them to reciprocate that gesture by doing their job diligently. Vice President: Group Calls for Immediate Withdrawal of Shettima A Non-Political group known as Northern People’s Project (NPP) has called for the immediate withdrawal of the former governor of Borno state, Kashim Ibrahim Shettima as the Vice Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress and replace him with a Northern Christian. GOVERNOR LALONG MEETS DIASPORA BIKER KUNLE ADEYANJU; RESTATES COMMITMENT TO POLIO ERADICATION,  SPORTS AND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT  Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has received Kunle Adeyanju the diaspora biker who rode from London to Nigeria. Kunle who is in Jos as part of his advocacy for the fight against Polio met with Governor Simon Lalong at the oldest golf course in Nigeria, Rayfield 1913. He said he is still going round the country to encourage Nigerians to keep on doing what they have done to fight against Polio so that the disease will not come back again.
