OXFAM & SECONDMUSE URBAN FOOD HIVES REPORT VALIDATION AND CO-DESIGN WORKSHOP WITH PARTNERS AND STAKEHOLDERS IN JOS.

Oxfam and Secondmuse Urban Hives Project Report Validation and Co-Design Workshop with Partners and Stakeholders was  organised at Crispan Hotel, Jos from 18th to 23rd July, 2022.

The Workshop was aimed at mobilising key stakeholders and actors from the identified value chains for a consultation, co-creation and program co-design meeting. 


The Workshop was also to validate the reports of market value chain and gender-power analyses conducted on the food system in Jos city and its environs.


The Workshop is to brainstorm ,critique, distil,refine,redefine programme intervention points, interventions and concepts. 



The Workshop was also aimed designing and developing an implementable programme that would help in achieving the identified North Star for Nigeria UFH project detailing key intervention points, interventions, concepts, target beneficiaries, Stakeholders and entry points. 


After the welcome address of the Country Director, Oxfam, Dr Vincent Ahonsi,who was represented, goodwill messages were made by the Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, represented by Mr Pam Mancha Yusuf, Director of Planning of the Ministry and the Executive Director of CCDP.


Papers were presented by Enoch Bamaiyi,the  VSLA Supervisor of CCDP,Abdulaziz Musa,Head of Programme Oxfam Nigeria, Dr William Mafwalal,Oxfam Programme Manager,Dr Jacob Fintan,Head of Programme Quality and Compliance, Oxfam Nigeria amongst others. 

There were group work by the Tomatoes and Potatoes groups divided into four sub groups. 


Publishers, Editors and Reporters of the NewsGate Magazine, Newscrest Newspaper, Ace News Online, Jat HotNews Newspaper, Frank News Magazine, Emerald Magazine, Trust News Online ,Punch Newspaper and PRTVC were in attendance for proper media coverage and reporting.

A 3-man panel of Judges of the Tribunal, led by Hon. Justice Cordelia Ogadi upheld that there is no any substantial evidence before the tribunal that senator Mwadkwon forged First School Leaving Certificate and the West African School Certificate.

THE LONG GAMAI OF GAMAI NATION, HRH MISKOOM MARTIN MUDU'UTRIE SHALDAS III, HAS ADVOCATED FOR A MORE ROBUST MEANS OF UNITY AMONG THE SUB GAMAI GROUP

The Long Gamai of Gamai Nation, HRH Miskoom Martin Mudu'utrie Shaldas III, has advocated for a more robust means of unity among the sub Gamai groups. Miskoom Shaldas III, made the call on Sunday October 27, 2024; when the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Gamai Bible Translation and Gamai Literacy Project, Nda Noetsen Kevin Kwaplong, led members of the Board and the organizers of Dedication, Presentation and Launching of the Gamai Bible and Literacy Project after the Thanksgiving Mass, organized by the Central Working Committee, led by Nda Kurnajam Joseph Ari; held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Shendam, Plateau State. The Long Gamai commended the team, and stressed that the successful conduct of the event was a consequence of the unity exhibited the sub Gamai groups, emphasizing that the unity is key in whatever we need to achieve. Miskoom Shaldas III, who was full of appreciation to the team added that the resilience, commitment, synergy and ene
