Hon Da'a, who made the appeal in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Stephen Sarki Musa, also called on them to continue to patronize the designated INEC Continuous Voters Registration Centers, for the registration exercise and cautioned them against waiting until the last minute.

"With the 2 days public holiday and the extension of time by INEC for the Continuous Voters Registration Exercise, I appeal to all eligible voters to turn out in their numbers to register and obtain their Permanent Voters Cards," the Chairman said.

He added that the advantages of obtaining the cards are numerous, as it creates opportunities for choices in the election of credible leaders in the 2023 and subsequent elections in the country.

"The only opportunity to elect credible leaders is for the electorate to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards. There should be no room for complain with the holidays and the extension," Hon. Da'a declared.

The Executive Chairman commended INEC for listening to the voices of the people by extending the period of the exercise and appealed to them to provide more facilities and personnel to meet up with the upsurge in the number of people coming out for the exercise.

He also called on traditional and religious leaders to join the various authorities of Government in educating and mobilizing their wards towards the success of the exercise.
