QUA’AN-PAN LG TAKES DELIVERY OF CLASSROOM FURNITURE, FLAGS OFF DISTRIBUTION

The Management of Qua'an - Pan LGC of Plateau State has on Wednesday April 7, 2022, flagged Off the distribution of Furniture it took delivery recently.



Speaking at the brief but very important event, the Executive Chairman Qua’an-Pan LGC, Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a, represented by his Deputy, who is the Supervisory Councilor for Education, Hon. Helen Henniet Wapmuk, disclosed that the present administration in Qua’an-Pan will stop at nothing in contributing her own quota in the development of the education sector.


Hon. Wapmuk charged the Local Government Education Authority to do justice to the distribution process, urging the various schools managements to make judicious use of the furniture towards the transformation of the pupils in the early stage of their education.

She stated that the ongoing Screening Exercise for the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the Education in Qua’an-Pan is a deliberate attempt at improving service delivery in the education sector.



The Council Boss, thanked the Universal Basic Education (UBEC), the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), the Rescue Administration of Governor Simon Bako Lalong for the provisions, which will go a long way in creating conducive learning environment for the pupils.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Education Secretary, Mr. Danjuma Z. Landa, stated that furniture is an intervention programme of SUBEB in conjunction with UBEC.


Mr. Landa expressed gratitude to the Local Government Administration under the leader of QP Project, Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a, which came to their rescue, saying they have priority for education.


The Deputy Chairman was in company of the Secretary to the Council, Hon. Gideon Godenaan Dashe, the Supervisory Councilors.

In attendance also were, the House Committee Chairman on Education and Councilor representing Shangfup-Moeda ward, Hon. Naannoegoen Daniel Danladi, Mr. Magun Dara from the Education Zonal Office Langtang, the Head of Personnel Management Mrs. Tabitha Jacob Wazhi, the NUT Chairman, Comrd. Sam Nkup, former NUT Chairman Mr. Jacob Dashe, other staff and pupils of some schools.
