History was made in Langkaku village of Namu District of Quaan Pan LGA on 9th April, 2022, when prominent political office holders graced the Fund Raising ceremony of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Langkaku, Catholic Diocese of Shendam, towards the completion of their new Church building.

The Executive Chairman, Qua'an-Pan LGC, Hon. Ernest Abner Da'a, who came in company of other stakeholders, sons and daughters of the village to witness the event, expressed concern over the bad condition of the road from Namu town to Langkaku, stating that, hopefully, something will be done by government towards making the road motorable.

Hon. Da'a, who was the Father of the Day at the occasion, assured that the need for the construction of the road is long overdue and assured the community that he will table the issue before the Governor.

"The Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong, who is a compassionate father has done a lot for the people of Qua'an-Pan LGA, and the Namu - Langkaku road issue is a peculiar case that, by God's grace I will try to see it come to fulfilment," the Chairman stated.

The Executive Chairman, while making his handsome donation and that of the DG ITF, Sir Joseph N. Ari, further said that Langkaku is a blessed land, emphasizing that the surplus farm produce in the area must be transported to the market for the benefit of the people.
