PRESS RELEASE FROM QUA’AN-PAN LGC QUA'AN-PAN LGC TO INTRODUCE DRUGS REVOLVING SCHEME IN PHC CLINICS The Local administration in Qua’an-Pan Local Government is to commence a Drugs Revolving Scheme at some designated Primary Health-Care Clinics in the area. Council Chairman, Hon. Ernest Da’a who disclosed this plans while playing host to the Social Mobilization Committee on health related programme in his office noted that the gesture will make essential drugs available and affordable to residents in the area. Rep. Lar Secures National Assembly Approval for Urgent Rehabilitation of Langtang-Kanke-Wase Federal Road The House of representatives has mandated the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) to ensure urgent and speedy rehabilitation of the road linking Langtang, Kanke and Wase Local Government Areas (L.G.As) in Plateau State in order fastrack development in the L.G.As. The House resolution followed a motion of public importance moved by Hon. Beni Lar on the floor of the House of representatives, entitled: "Need to Rehabilitate the Collapsed Kanke-Langtang Road".  While moving the motion, Hon. JOS NORTH LGC TO LIAISE  WITH ROTARY INTERNATIONAL TO ERADICATE POLIO.  The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Bala Usman says his administration will collaborate with Rotary International club to sustain the eradication of polio virus and other diseases in the locality. The Chairman stated this when he received officials of Rotary International  club Seven, District Nine-one-two-five, led by Gloria Thomas in his office at the Council Secretariat in Jos. The visit of the Rotarians to Jos North Local Government was part of the Rotary International club efforts to present Apron ahead of the forthcoming Saturday Immunization against polio virus in the area. Usman commended the Rotarians for working tirelessly in assisting government in the campaign to eradicate polio and other diseases in the area. HON. DA’A CONDOLES WITH THE QUA’AN-PAN LG. APC CHAIR OVER DEMISE OF MOTHER The Executive Chairman Qua'an-Pan LGC, Hon. Ernest A. Da’a has paid a condolence visit to the family of Jibrin Kayarda, over the demise of Mama Rabi Jibrin; Mother of  the APC Chairman, Hon. Haruna Kangmi Jibrin, at the Family House in Kayarda Njak-Shindai, Namu District. Hon. Da’a, while sympathising with the family, also admonished the family to take solace in God. He said, late Mama Rabi Jibrin has paid her dues on earth, encouraging the entire family, especially the immediate family to be united and pray for their time, because death is inevitable. Responding on behalf of the family, Mr. John Mairiga thanked the Executive Chairman and his Cabinet for for the show of love, saying the family is strengthened.  Late Mama Rabi Jibrin died on Sunday February 6, 2022, at Pedong Clinic Namu and has been buried, according to Islamic rites. 20,014 PERSONS BENEFIT FROM ‘QUA’AN-PAN PROJECT’ FREE MEDICAL AND SURGICAL SERVICES  At least 20,014 Patients in Qua’an-Pan LGA of Plateau State-Nigeria and Environs have benefited from the Free Comprehensive Medical and Surgical Services, organized by Qua’an-Pan Local Government Council, under the leadership of Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a, in conjunction with Eden Compassion and Health Mission (ECHM). The general report presented by the medical team shows that, 20,014 people were attended to in the Four (4) zones located at Doemak, Kwalla and Namu , where; 90 persons underwent Obstetrics and Gynaecological Surgeries (Myomectomies, C/S, TAH, DELUENIES); 210 went through eye surgeries, while 470 received eye glasses and 2,621 received consultations and other eye treatments. In the same vain, 630 persons benefited from General Surgeries, which include Appendicitis, Hernia Hydrocele and Lipoma;  9,713 had Professional Consultations, while 415 persons were scanned for various ailments.
