Wherein Gurara Legislators suspended the council Chairman Hon Wali--- Leader

By Abubakar Ilemona Ibrahim

The Gurara local government legislators  in Niger State recently suspended their council chairman Honourable Yusuf Wali over financial malpractice and dubious character

Speaking to News men were the 10 federal councillors in the local government said suspending the council chairman is legal and good for him because he thought embezzling public fund is legal

The speaker said that hon Yusuf Wali boasted to work alone so as to freely loot the council treasury dry that the state governor is his political God father

They said they have invited him 3 time he declined bragging that since he have the governor support behind nothing would happen whether looting or not they said

So we all decided to take action and suspended him for 3 months despite threatening us to return him but his suspension remain stand  they said

They said the house is one so no amount of threatening will make them compromise with his fraudulent they said

All the 10 federal councillors accuse him Hon Yusuf Wali for his corruption to the council, adding that we wrote our suspension reports and we have forwarded them so coming back threatening us is nonsense and empty they said

They accuse the council chairman of one man show, he don't talk to us he work without the legislators so we don't fear him because we are also electives councillors

Those who suspender him are all the 10 ward councillors to including the chairman ward councillor sign for his suspension I think we are getting it right in politics
