2.Thur 20th May 2021: 
Commencement of campaign  activities by political parties

3.Thur 3rd June 2021 to Thur 17th June 2021:conduct of primaries by political  
 parties and observation of same by the commission

4.Mon 14th June 2021 to Sat 18th June 2021:collection of nomination forms for candidates by political parties

5.Mon 21 June 2021 to wed 23 June 2021:submission of nomination forms for 
candidates by political parties

6.Wed 30th June 2021 to sat 3rd July 2021: verifications/screening of chairmanship 
candidates and their deputies

7.Mon 5th July 2021 to wed 14th July 2021:verifications/screening of councillorship candidates

8. Wed 21st July 2021:submission of list of qualified/cleared  candidates to political parties by PLASIEC 

9.Fri 23 July 2021: receiving of appeal cases from political parties 

10.Tue 27 July 2021:hearing of appeal cases by PLASIEC 

11. Wed 4th August 2021:last day for the withdrawal of  candidate

12.Tue 10th August 2021:submission of withdrawal/uncleared candidates by political parties

13.Fri 13th August 2021:screening of substituted candidates by PLASIEC 

14. Wed 18th August 2021: collection of nomination forms by all cleared substituted candidates

15.Mon 23 August 2021: submission of nomination forms by all cleared substituted candidates

16.Tue 31 August 2021:publication of names of qualified candidates by PLASIEC 

17.Thur 2 Sept 2021: submission of names and addressed of party agents by political parties to the  commission

18.Fri 3rd sept 2021 to Thur 16 Sept 2021:Display of voters register at ward
 collection centres ( 8am to 4pm daily )

19.Fri 8th Oct 2021:end of electioneering campaign  (12:00 midnight )

20.Sat 9th Oct 2021:Election day ( 8am to 3pm )

21.Sat 18th Oct 2021:Run off/ Re-Run election (if any)

Plateau State National Assembly Rerun Election Petition Tribunal Dismissed Certificate Forgery Allegation Against Sen Pam Dachungyang Mwadkwon. ...We Are All Winners-Sen Pam Dachungyang Mwadkon.  By Nanyah Daman, David Kazi, Justin Jattim, Michael Nangwang, Anastasia Jatbyen, Vanessa Timbyen and Nanpon Maigemu Bauchi.  The National Assembly Rerun Election Petition Tribunal for Plateau Northern Senatorial District sitting in Bauchi on Wednesday 14th August, 2024 dismissed allegation of certificate forgery filed against Senator Pam Dachungyang Mwadkwon of Action Democratic Party (ADP). A 3-man panel of Judges of the Tribunal, led by Hon. Justice Cordelia Ogadi upheld that there is no any substantial evidence before the tribunal that senator Mwadkwon forged First School Leaving Certificate and the West African School Certificate.

IRIGWE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (IDA)  PRESS STATEMENT: IRIGWE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (IDA) CALLS ON THE IRIGWE PEOOPLE TO VOTE LABOUR PARTY IN THE FORTHCOMING BYE-ELECTION. Following the resolution of the leadership of the Indigenous Forum of Presidents and Secretaries of Bassa and Jos North LGAs that the indigenes of the aforementioned LGAs vote the candidate of Labor Party, Hon Daniel Asama for House of Representatives Bassa/Jos North in the forthcoming Bye-Election in Plateau.,the National President of Irigwe Development Association (IDA), Prince Robert Ashi Dodo has keyed into the resolution and called on Rigwe people to follow the same path and vote Hon Daniel Asama of Labor Party in the Saturday February 3,2024 rerun election.  The president enjoins Rigwe people to ensure they turn out en masse in order to excise their civic rights.  PRO, IDA 2/2/2024

THE LONG GAMAI OF GAMAI NATION, HRH MISKOOM MARTIN MUDU'UTRIE SHALDAS III, HAS ADVOCATED FOR A MORE ROBUST MEANS OF UNITY AMONG THE SUB GAMAI GROUP

The Long Gamai of Gamai Nation, HRH Miskoom Martin Mudu'utrie Shaldas III, has advocated for a more robust means of unity among the sub Gamai groups. Miskoom Shaldas III, made the call on Sunday October 27, 2024; when the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Gamai Bible Translation and Gamai Literacy Project, Nda Noetsen Kevin Kwaplong, led members of the Board and the organizers of Dedication, Presentation and Launching of the Gamai Bible and Literacy Project after the Thanksgiving Mass, organized by the Central Working Committee, led by Nda Kurnajam Joseph Ari; held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Shendam, Plateau State.
