1.Tue 18th May 2021:
a. Publication of Notice of Election.
b. Release of election timetable.
c. release of election guidelines.

2.Thur 20th May 2021: 
Commencement of campaign  activities by political parties

3.Thur 3rd June 2021 to Thur 17th June 2021:conduct of primaries by political  
 parties and observation of same by the commission

4.Mon 14th June 2021 to Sat 18th June 2021:collection of nomination forms for candidates by political parties

5.Mon 21 June 2021 to wed 23 June 2021:submission of nomination forms for 
candidates by political parties

6.Wed 30th June 2021 to sat 3rd July 2021: verifications/screening of chairmanship 
candidates and their deputies

7.Mon 5th July 2021 to wed 14th July 2021:verifications/screening of councillorship candidates

8. Wed 21st July 2021:submission of list of qualified/cleared  candidates to political parties by PLASIEC 

9.Fri 23 July 2021: receiving of appeal cases from political parties 

10.Tue 27 July 2021:hearing of appeal cases by PLASIEC 

11. Wed 4th August 2021:last day for the withdrawal of  candidate

12.Tue 10th August 2021:submission of withdrawal/uncleared candidates by political parties

13.Fri 13th August 2021:screening of substituted candidates by PLASIEC 

14. Wed 18th August 2021: collection of nomination forms by all cleared substituted candidates

15.Mon 23 August 2021: submission of nomination forms by all cleared substituted candidates

16.Tue 31 August 2021:publication of names of qualified candidates by PLASIEC 

17.Thur 2 Sept 2021: submission of names and addressed of party agents by political parties to the  commission

18.Fri 3rd sept 2021 to Thur 16 Sept 2021:Display of voters register at ward
 collection centres ( 8am to 4pm daily )

19.Fri 8th Oct 2021:end of electioneering campaign  (12:00 midnight )

20.Sat 9th Oct 2021:Election day ( 8am to 3pm )

21.Sat 18th Oct 2021:Run off/ Re-Run election (if any)
