Owing to the emergence of a young, visionary, resilient and selfless Chairman, coupled with his predetermined commitment towards ushering a sustainable people friendly and responsive Government, Security of Lives and Property, Rural/Urban Development Programs which encompasses Rural/Urban Road Network, Rural/Urban Water Works, Constructions of Bridges, Culverts and Drainages, Installation of Solar Power Street Lights, Construction of  Maternity, Construction of Primary Health Care (PHC) across the 20 Electoral Wards, Constructing the Village Heads Palace across the Local Government Area, Provision of Conducive Working Environment for Local Government Staff and Council Legislators, Enhancing Healthcare Delivery Service, Putting in place a clean & safe environment, Youth/Women Empowerment Scheme, etc.
While records of Hon. Wokdung Adamu Abbas administration remains subtle and unbeatable, Human Capital Development remains top most priority with devotion to engaging Youths and Women in economic development in Kanam Local Government Area.

Hon. Wokdung Adamu Abbas carefully selected Women from across Electoral Wards of Kanam Local Government Area gaving cash donation as capital for futuristic livelihood. This has, ever since continued on irregular basis as businesses of women concern continue to prosper acidusly.
