Jos, Plateau State - The 2025 Plateau Unity Christmas Carols & Praise Festival has concluded, with Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang reaffirming the state's position as a leading centre of Christian unity, worship, and spiritual renewal in Nigeria.

The three-day event, held at the iconic Ten Commandments Prayer Altar in Dwei-Du, Jos South, attracted thousands of worshippers, senior clergy, former Presidents, governors, traditional rulers, and renowned gospel ministers from across the nation.

In his address, Governor Mutfwang expressed gratitude to God and the people of Plateau for the overwhelming support that has transformed the program into one of Nigeria's largest interdenominational gatherings. He emphasized the importance of unity and reconciliation, stating that Plateau's diversity should be celebrated as a strength, not a weakness.

The governor thanked Plateau's Christian leaders for their support and prayed that the spirit of unity experienced at the festival would continue to grow and strengthen inter-church relationships across the state. He also appreciated former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former governors, security chiefs, legislators, and ministers who graced the event, noting that their presence reflects the increasing national relevance of the festival.

The event featured powerful worship sessions by over 30 choirs from across Nigeria, including Katsina, Southern Kaduna, and Nasarawa. Special ministers, including Sinach, Buchi, Pastor Chingtok Ishaku, and Apostle Andrew Dangwel, electrified the crowd with soul-stirring ministrations.

Former President Obasanjo urged Plateau to present the festival as a global place of worship and prayer for global calendar listing, describing it as world-class and spiritually significant.

Governor Mutfwang affirmed his administration's readiness to sustain the festival, stating that it will serve the entire Plateau, the church in Nigeria, and the body of Christ worldwide.
