PLATEAU PUBLISHERS ASSOCIATION SET TO CONDUCT ELECTION ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9

PRESS RELEASE

The Plateau Publishers Association wishes to inform the general public, all members, and relevant stakeholders that preparations have been concluded for the conduct of its much-anticipated election scheduled to hold on Sunday, November 9th, 2025.

Having fulfilled all constitutional and procedural requirements, the Electoral Committee has affirmed its readiness to conduct a free, fair, and transparent election in line with the democratic principles guiding the association.

The Committee assures all aspirants and members that every necessary arrangement has been put in place to ensure a smooth, credible, and peaceful electoral process. Consequently, all aspirants are advised to intensify their campaigns and engage members constructively, as the process shall be devoid of manipulation or favouritism.

Only duly elected candidates, as determined by the votes of members, shall be declared winners.

The Association also calls on all media organisations, regulatory bodies the security agencies, and relevant government agencies to take note of the date and lend their support in ensuring a successful and transparent exercise.

The Plateau Publishers Association remains committed to promoting professionalism, unity, and ethical standards in the Plateau media landscape.
