Rt. Hon. Gagdi in a statement to the press emphasized on security as the bedrock of a nation, that which is a state of being free from danger and threat. In his statement to JatHotNews, "My understanding varies, for other people's understanding. These gathering about security and peace award isn't about the award or a showoff to music and performance display but that which brings about a conversation about adherence to every vital of security".
As people are aware nowadays, security isnt about usage of guns, bombing Boko Haram, Bandits and Kidnappers, in my opinion and clarity, security is governance. I stand firm to state that it is every governments duty and primary responsibility to safeguard the welfare of its citizens, the parliament and the constitution gave the power to we the parliament and as drafted in the constitution, our responsibility to the citizenry of Nigeria is to make law for Peace, Order and Good Governance.

Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi mentioned that peace is what the constitution mentioned when it comes to the functionality of the parliament, it means therefore both in the Bible and Quran as adopted by the constitution, security is the bedrock of anything meaningful in Nigeria. Gathering such as these which promotes peace and security should always expect me as a conveyor having being trained and qualified as an expert in Nigeria and a representative facing numerous problems accompanied with security challenges or security in general.
To further shade light to accomplishments, Rt. Hon. Gagdi gave kudo to his amiable wife for thinking it right and worthy of emulation from him to have picked out 33 women from his constituency, 11 from each Local Government, training them in the aspect of different businesses for 3 months. He said and I quote " she also procured every working tool for there usage in Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam. It wasn't my idea or resources that was used to fund the programme, but based off her foundation which automatically is my foundation, looking inwardly towards the dynamics and needs of the people in her mind, I can't be less proud of having her as my wife".
