PLHA SPEAKER CONDEMNS MURDER OF NAMANG, PLATEAU APC SPOKESPERSON.  The Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Gabriel K. Dewan received with rude shock the recent killing of our brother, the Plateau State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Sylvanus Namang in Pankshin on the 18th of February 2024 at a shop and the shop owner Mr Sunday Okonko (Sunny-Best) a peace-loving Igbo businessman within the neighbourhood of the unfortunate event. He prayed for their souls and those of others faithfully departed to rest in peace with the Lord, Amen. The deceased Mr Namang was a gentleman and a hardworking person who had served the State and Nigeria meritoriously in both public and private capacities.  The Speaker, on behalf of the Honourable Members and staff of the Plateau State House of Assembly wish to condole the deceased family, Mwaghavul nation, All Progressive Congress and the entire people of Plateau State on this great loss.

Please be informed that after a careful and widely consultation with ,Elders and stakeholders of the Berom Nation, it is resolved that all our sons contesting for the position of SENATE are fully qualified,  but for the sake of not spreading our votes where opponents will take advantage, It's been agreed and resolved that we should all support the candidate of ADP  Prince Pam Mwadkwon Dachung Gyang. In deed it's a hard decision taking. In the light of this, we encouraged all our members to come out and vote for ADP for Senate and labour for House of reps Jos North Bassa. Following the resolution of the leadership of the Indigenous Forum of Presidents and Secretaries of Bassa and Jos North LGAs that the indigenes of the aforementioned LGAs vote the candidate of Labor Party, Hon Daniel Asama for House of Representatives Bassa/Jos North in the forthcoming Bye-Election in Plateau.,the National President of Irigwe Development Association (IDA), Prince Robert Ashi Dodo has keyed into the resolution and called on Rigwe people to follow the same path and vote Hon Daniel Asama of Labor Party in the Saturday February 3,2024 rerun election.  The president enjoins Rigwe people to ensure they turn out en masse in order to excise their civic rights.  PRO, IDA 2/2/2024

MESSAGE FROM SEN. SIMON MWADKWON PhD I greet you all in the name of the Most High God, the all knowing and the Supreme. It is no longer news that the Electoral Umpire, INEC for reason best know to it decided to exclude us from the Senate Rerun Elections we were fully prepared and ready to win overwhelmingly. This decision to exclude us came few hours to the election while we were rounding up our campaigns and has left a very bitter taste in our mouths. We are aware that emotions are high and many feel discouraged and disenchanted but it is in this situation that I want to encourage us to be strong and more determined than ever. Yes these are not the best of times, this is the tough time we are experiencing but God is still on the throne and still in full control of all activities of the World, politics not exempted. It is on this note that we want to appeal to all of us to calm down and be encountered to strengthen others as we go into the Polls tomorrow 3rd February, 2024.

PLATEAU NORTH SENATORIAL RERUN - YOUTHS ENDORSE ADP CANDIDATE PRINCE PAM MWADKON

JUST IN  Plateau North Senatorial Rerun - Youths Endorse ADP Candidate Prince Pam  Mwadkwon  Youths and other stakeholders in Jos yesterday endorsed the Senatorial bid of Hon Prince Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang  of the Action Democratic Party ( ADP) , in the Plateau North Senatorial rerun election  slated to hold on Saturday February 3rd 2024 . They also endorsed the Candidate of the Labour party Hon Daniel Asama, as their preferred choice for the Jos North/ Bassa rerun election.
