PLATEAU GOVERNORSHIP  TRIBUNAL DISMISSED ALFRED DABWAN OF THE NNPP’S PETITION AGAINST  CALEB MUTFWANG, AWARDED N1.5m COST AGAINST PETITIONERS

The  Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting at the premises of the Plateau State High Court Jos on Monday 11th September, 2023 dismissed the Petition filed by Alfred Dabwan and his party, the NNPP against Barr Caleb Mutfwang of the PDP 

Jat HotNews recalled that the NNPP, the Petitioners approached the Tribunal seeking the nullification of the March 18, 2023 Governoship Election which INEC declared and returned Barr. Caleb Mutfwang for unlawful exclusion of logo of NNPP by INEC in the ballot.

The  vicinity of the Court was  cordoned by security operatives as the Governor and appointees of his Government as well as members of the PDP and the NNPP populated the tribunal to listen to the judgement.
