PRESS STATEMENT: LABOUR PARTY DISTANCES SELF FROM FORGED AND FICTITIOUS LETTER

PRESS STATEMENT: LABOUR PARTY DISTANCES SELF FROM FORGED AND FICTITIOUS LETTERS
The National Chairman of the Labour Party, LP, Barrister Julius Abure and the Plateau State Governorship candidate, Dr. Patrick Dakum, have distanced themselves from the deceptive and forged letters being circulated by the desperate Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, e-boys and rumour peddlers all round the state alleging support and stepping down for the incompetent and uncertained governorship candidate of their party.
All LP faithful and the general public should disregard such baseless and concocted lies from the already exited PDP from the contest.

The LP is not ignorant of the fact that the PDP is on a wild goose chase which its juggernauts are fully aware by virtue of the already existing  courts' judgment with deadly missiles waiting for it at the tribunal and others to quash all their victories at the National Assembly elections.

Due to their penchant for bad governance and total disregard for the peace, unity and progress of Plateau, state they resorted into working for the All Progressives Congress, APC, surreptitiously by peddling heinous lies and criminality through forgery of letter headed paper and signature of the LP National  Chairman endorsing Caleb Mutfwang of the PDP. This they do, so that if the electorates who are wiser than they could eventually fall into their trap, their votes will be wasted and the APC will gain grounds.
The PDP has finally proven itself as a mole, protégé and stooge of the APC, and also its hand in hand for the retrogression of Plateau State.

The LP knows that the PDP is also playing to the gallery as its only waiting for its jab of the Zamfara experience in 2019 at 2023 election petition tribunal.
We are therefore calling on the general public to disregard all forms of write-ups and lies coming from the PDP that the LP is supporting its candidate, Mutfwang. There is no such thing, and there will never be.

The PDP is only on a treachery odyssey while on somnambulism and day dreaming.
It is totally impossible for the LP which is out for competence to recant its stance and opt for charade at the governorship polls by supporting a vacuum and a party waiting for the axe of nullification after the elections.

THE FEAR OF DR. PATRICK DAKUM, IS THE BEGINNING OF THE APC'S AND PDP'S DEFEAT.

The First Law of Motion states, "To every action, there is equal and opposite reaction."  The calumny, lies and forgery perpetrated against Dr. Dakum is a sign of defeat on the side of the PDP and the APC. Chief Obafemi Awolowo said, "But it is mean and cowardly and an evidence of weakness and other demerit for any group of people to attempt, to comment themselves to the public by the negative of belittling and condemning others. Strong, courageous, resourceful and self-confident people are never afraid of rivals or competitors."

The PDP and APC's performance in governance has edged them out of favour with the electorates and desperation set in, thus; making them to be weak,  un-resourceful, incompetent, and timid.
It is the weak that malign the mighty.
We, therefore call on all our supporters not to take heed to the braying of the marooned and drowning PDP and APC, as victory beckons.
