LONG KWO ATTAHIRU I INAUGURATES COMMITTEE ON COOPERATIVE

In his bid to strengthen the economic base of his people the Long Kwo of Kwo Chiefdom in Qua'an Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State, HRH Miskoom Fidelis Longtoe Attahiru I has inaugurated the committee for the establishment of a cooperative society.

Inaugurating the 5-Member Committee, the Long Kwo, represented by Nda Kurgui Dr Baamshal Mairiga on Thursday August 4, 2022 said the Cooperative Society will provide the people of his domain the opportunity to save what they gainfully earned for the future.

He encouraged his people to key in  the outfit, to be known as Kwo Chiefdom Multipurpose Cooperative Society, given its huge benefits.

He then tasked the committee headed by Miskoom Edmund Attahiru, to among other things; design a model, structure, draw a bye law and to ensure that it is registered.

Responding on behalf of the Committee, it's Secretary, Dr Joseph Bola Tsenkwo thanked Miskoom Fidelis Longtoe Attahiru I and his Council for the confidence bestowed upon them and promised to deliver on their mandate.

The Committee has 6-12 months to ensure the full establishment of the Cooperative and has as it's members Nna Rose Langkwap, treasurer; Miskoom Shintoe Kwallat, Public Relations Officer and Nna Matfaan Kwaptoe as Financial Secretary
