Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum, the Labour Party's (LP) governorship candidate in Plateau State for the 2023 general elections, is the best candidate among those running in various political parties (the Labour party candidate is excellent with vase experience).
Dakum made the claim on Friday at the Kent Palace Hotel in Jos Plateau State's capital as the Labour Party's gubernatorial candidate in 2023.
"I respect all the governorship candidates because they are good," he says, "but the Labour Party candidate is exceptional."
"We are fully committed to ensuring the success of our presidential candidate and his running mate." We are fully committed to ensuring that the ticket we have worked so hard for and the mandate given to me as the emerging candidate is not in vain. We are more determined than ever to win all elective positions in Plateau and Nigeria in general come 2023, as we are working around the clock to build a formidable structure," Dakum stated.
He urged all Labour Party supporters to campaign on issues rather than using violence or vulgar language.
Remember that the National Secretariat of the Labour Party issued a circular demanding that party governorship primaries be held in 12 states, including Plateau.
In another development, the Plateau State Labour Party has denied any involvement in the arrest of Ambassador Yohanna Margif over any matter related to the political party in the interest of anyone. Mr. Awara James Adara, the party's public relations officer in Plateau State, responded to newsmen in Jos on Friday, June 5, 2022, at the party secretariat.
Adara hinted that the Plateau State Labour Party never considered or directed any police officer to arrest Amb. Yohanna Margif or any of its members for political reasons, or any new members.
The PRO urged Labour Party supporters to disregard such statements making the rounds on social media and being promoted by the APC and the PDP out of fear of the Labour Party's rising profile in Nigeria in general and Plateau state in particular. We urge Labour Party members to remain calm because the party is doing everything possible to win the general election in 2023.
