QUA’AN-PAN COUNCIL CHAIRMAN HOLDS PARLEY WITH STAFF, ASSURES ON WELFARE, JUSTICE

The Executive Chairman and leader of QP Project in Qua’an-Pan LGC, Plateau State, Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a, on 20th April, 2022, disclosed that his administration has prioritized welfare of staff, adding that the doors of the council are open to all.



Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a who made the disclosure during a parley with the staff at the Council's Chambers, reiterated that the Administration will make justice and equity it’s watch words.



He said all mechanisms are in place to galvanize the workforce and promised that the available resources will be put towards effective service delivery.

Hon. Da’a challenged the Staff to have positive attitudes toward their work, reminding them that commitment and dedication to work does not only attract physical benefits, but God’s divine reward.



The Executive Chairman, who commended the Directors, Sectional Heads and the entire Workforce in the local government, disclosed that he enjoys the working relationship between the Executive and the Technocrats.


Da'a prayed that the socio-economic trends in the country would get better, so that the council can handle most of  the many issues raised by the Union Leaders.


Earlier, the Union Leaders, led by the NULGE Chairman, Comr. Obadiah Dajan, expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman for responding to the needs of the staff, and said that as Oliver Twist, the workers will continue to ask for more.



The Union Leaders raised some salient issues which includes, salary updates, repatriation, course and disturbance allowances, among others.


The Acting DPM, Mr. Yildimha Shanghuna in his remark, called on the Executive and the staff to avoid overlapping on each others' jurisdictions of responsibility.


He expressed delight over the meeting and prayed God to take the lead, wishing all the best of the season.

The Executive Chairman was flanked by his deputy, Hon. Helen Henniet Wapmuk, the council Secretary, Hon. Gideon Godenaan Dashe, and Supervisory Councilors.

The meeting which was interactive, was well attended by the Directors, Staff Officer, Sectional Heads and members of staff.
