We want to restructure  our  House In Order Ahead of 2023, Says Hon. Ari

The incoming majority leader of Jos North legislative arm Hon. Sylvester  Ari , said they intend to bring in fresh ideas that will rebust, reenergized and strengthen APC as a party "just as we are approaching to 2023 general elections."


Ari who is a counselor representing Kabong ward emerged new majority leader of the legislative arm during their plenary held in Jos North Local Government council, Tuesday .



Speaking to Journalists at the council Secretariat shortly after the plenary the majority leader said as you can see we have more than the 2/3 majority who stand for the change as we have 14 out of the 20 legislators.


 On what inform the changed of leadership in the legislative arm, Ari acknowledged that "actually as you can see I am together with my colleagues and truly speaking today is a remarkable day for me in Jos North legislative arm to see that we gave it a first lift to see that we bring about this changed.


"The reason why this changed came about is as a result of gross misconduct, the irregularities and other things that are going on, even the Local Government Council and our party at large.


"And as you can see, going back to the last bye-election of Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency you understand that we have lost..... And for so many obvious reasons, but we want to see a situation whereby we bring in fresh ideas that will reinvigorate, reenergized and strengthen our party just as we are approaching to 2023 general elections.

"Jos North you know is solidly APC Local Government, and with this new leadership we want want to deepen our ideas so that our party would rise and at the end of the day emerged victorious!

He maintained  that "well, we are not blaming the leaders of the party but I am speaking from the legislative angle as Counsellors representing the good people of wards and as Counsellors of APC. 

"We need to   restrategize and be up and doing and that is why the change came about so that the Counsellors will be up and doing in their wards because the Counsellors are the ones that are closer to the people at the grassroot, there are the ones that understand the political psychology of the people that is; their thought process and their emotions.

"with this  great change Counsellor can be able to proffered solutions that would help the party to move forward", he said.

Who is counsellor representing Sarkin Arab Ward , Hon Baba Umma  Telle,  thanked all the members who find them deem fit to lead them   and    promised to put in their best by giving fair representation to all  and call for their support to enable them move their  party to  its greater heights.
