MANAGEMENT OF QUA’AN-PAN LG SET TO FURNISH NEW PHC AT KURGWI EAST WARD

As part of it’s administration’s priority towards effective health care service delivery, the Management of Qua’an-Pan LGC, under Hon. Ernest A. Da’a, has put in place modalities to move the Kurgwi East Ward PHC to it’s permanent site which is at furnishing level.

Hon. Ernest A. Da’a, while on an inspection tour of the new Clinic Building in Kurgwi East, was reflective, having in mind how pathetic the situation has been with the people and the health personnel in managing the temporary building.

The Executive Chairman, represented by the Supervisory Councilor for Health, Hon. Jonas Dasok Koplang, assured of the Council’s readiness to do the needful, hence the necessity for the inspection tour.

Earlier, in their separate remarks, the Deputy Leader and Councilor representing the good people of Kurgwi-East Ward at the Qua’an-Pan Legislative Arm, Hon. Yakubu Sarki Ibrahim and the Community Leader (Mai Ungwa), called on the Council Chairman and the Management team to help furnish the new Clinic Building and move the PHC services to the permanent site. 

They disclosed that the temporary building is too small and lacked Office space to accommodate the laboratory services and others; including staff quarters.

They however expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman for his magnanimity towards health care service delivery, especially, the just concluded Free Comprehensive Medical and Surgical Services to over 10,000 beneficiaries in Qua’an-Pan and environs; which happened within the few months in office.

The Director Primary Health Care Department, the In-Charge of PHC Kurgwi-East and some other personnel of the Clinic were present.
