Federal  lawmaker representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency of Plateau , Hon  Yusuf Gagdi has said he is committed to serving humanity, his constituents and that he has entered into covenant with God not to disappoint the people he represents.


Gagdi stated this on Monday, while distributing Vehicles, Motorbikes and Tricycles to Chairmen of APC in his constituency and the youths of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam.

The vehicles ranging from eight Peugeot 406, four Sharon buses, five Tricycles known as (Keke-napep), and 30 Motorbikes, were all handed over personally to their beneficiaries by the lawmaker.


Gagdi in his goodwill message to all beneficiaries charged them to put into use the items given them in order to sustain self-reliance and become employers of labour, helping to also train others within them.

He harped on their understanding and support and assured of doing more to improve the lives of the people of the federal constituency as well their economic well-being, appealing for their sustained support going forward as he counts on them.

The lawmaker called on all who mean well for the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam federal constituency to continue supporting his quest to ensure delivering of quality representation.



In a goodwill message, the Speaker, Plateau House of Assembly, Yakubu Sanda, said that Gagdi was a good example of what the All Progressives Congress stands for.

Sanda urged the people of the constituency to stay in peace with one another so as to continue to enjoy the dividend of democracy.

According to him, leadership comes from God and those who succeed today will succeed tomorrow.

The state APC Chairman, Chief  Rufus Bature, said that by the grace of God, Gagdi and APC did not disappoint the people of Pankshinn/Kanke/Kanam.



The Chairman of the event, John Gobak, said that Gagdi had impacted all facets of human life with his programmes and projects.

Gobak said: “When he asked me to share his blueprint, I asked him, young man, what if you fail to execute what you have written here?

“He told me that God will help him, and true to his word, he has succeeded.


He called on the people of the zone to support Gagdi at all times.
