HON. LENGWE WUSHANGKA DECLARES INTENTION TO CONTEST FOR PLHA, DISTRIBUTES WRAPPERS


Lengwe Declares Intention to Contest for PLHA & Distribute Wrappers 


Honourable Lengwe Wushangka has formally intimated the leadership of People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kanke Local Government Area of his intention to contest for Kanke constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly in the forthcoming general elections. 


Lengwe who was accompanied by his campaign team visited the Local Government party's secretariat in Kwal, Kanke where he made the declaration amidst jubilating crowd. 


He solicited the support and votes of the delegates to enable him fly the party's flag in the general elections and assured them of efficient and effective representation if given the mandate to represent the constituency in the state House of Assembly.

Lengwe further assured the people that he will work closely with his colleagues in the House and the Executive arm in the state to attract development to Kanke. 


He appealed to the party leadership and the delegates to consider him because Lanshi has never been considered for any elective position and appealed to the party leadership in Kanke L.G.A and delegates to give Langshi people chance in the 2023 by giving him the party's ticket.

Lengwe to the party leadership in Kanke L.G.A appealed to the party leadership and the delegates to vote Lengwe as the party's flag bearer in the 2023 general elections and assured that Lengwe will effectively represent the constituency in the House. 

similarly, representatives of women, youths and Federal delegates noted that Hon. Lengwe has been vying for the state House of Assembly but stakeholders have always prevailed on him to step-down and Lengwe has been very understanding but assured him of the party's ticket in 2023. 

Highlights of the declaration were presentation of wrappers to women by wife of the aspirant, Mrs. Felicia Lengwe and distributions of posters, T-Shirts, Face-Caps among other things to supporters.

The Long Gamai of Gamai Nation, HRH Miskoom Martin Mudu'utrie Shaldas III, has advocated for a more robust means of unity among the sub Gamai groups. Miskoom Shaldas III, made the call on Sunday October 27, 2024; when the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Gamai Bible Translation and Gamai Literacy Project, Nda Noetsen Kevin Kwaplong, led members of the Board and the organizers of Dedication, Presentation and Launching of the Gamai Bible and Literacy Project after the Thanksgiving Mass, organized by the Central Working Committee, led by Nda Kurnajam Joseph Ari; held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Shendam, Plateau State. The Long Gamai commended the team, and stressed that the successful conduct of the event was a consequence of the unity exhibited the sub Gamai groups, emphasizing that the unity is key in whatever we need to achieve.
