QUA'AN-PAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL SWEARS-IN SUPERVISORY COUNCILLORS, SPECIAL ADVISERS, AMIDST CHEERS.  The Executive Chairman of Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council,  Hon. Ernest Abner Daa, has inaugurated the newly appointed Supervisory Councillors and Special Advisers and Assistants. Inaugurating the appointees, the chairman, said their appointments were informed by the need to join hands together in transforming the entire council in achieving the objectives of his administration. The Council chairman stressed that it will be business as usual urging the appointees to bring in their wealth of experiences to bear to justify the trust and confidence reposed in them with their respective appointments. SSANU NATIONAL APPEAL GOV. LALONG TO RELEASE N310m FOR PAYMENT OF EARNED ALLOWANCE ARREARS

SSANU National Appeals Gov Lalong to Release N310m for Payment of Earned Allowance Arrears  The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has called on Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State to as a matter of urgency, release the sum of N310 million for the payment of Earned Allowances owed SSANU members in Plateau State University from 2010 to 2020. The NEC in a Communique issued at the end of its 41st regular meeting held on Thursday 20th to Friday 21st January, 2022 at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, also called on the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yohanna Izam, to mainstream Hazard Allowance to SSANU members’ salaries in the University at the Governing Council's approved rate of N30,000 since the State Government has released funds for the full implementation of the allowance. PIDAN COMMISERATES WITH MWAGHAVUL NATION, VISITS SUM PYEM

PIDAN commiserates with Mwaghavul nation, visits Sum Pyem The Plateau Initiative for Development and Advancement of the Natives, PIDAN on Tuesday January 11, 2022  commiserated with  the Mwaghavul nation following the transition to glory of their paramount ruler, HRH Da Nelson Andat Bakfur and expressed sympathy with the Sum Pyem of Gindiri HRH Charles Mato Dakat after his abduction and release by kidnapers. The PIDAN team led by its President Prof Aboi Madaki, while in Kerang described the transition of Da  Bakfur as a great loss not only to the Mwaghavul nation but to Plateau State and the nation in general. FOUNDATION SHOWERS FOOD ITEMS ON 400 PEOPLE

Foundation showers food items on 400 people About 400 people on Saturday January 1, 2022 benefited from the social intervention 2022 package put in place by Peter Bawa and Anna Foundation in Kwande. The intervention, which comprised of rice, maggi and salt, were given to the aged, widows and other less privileged in the society. Providing the items, a Director of the Foundation, Miskoom Larry Peters, said the intention is to give out part what God has blessed them with to the people within the Kwande community. Miskoom Larry Peters, who is also the Goena of Kwo chiefdom, assured that the exercise will be continuous. Miskoom Peters, who spoke through Miskoom Leo Nshe, promised to expand the scope of the exercise to cover the whole of Kwo Chiefdom, pleaded with those who missed out to be patient. Most of the jubilant beneficiaries thanked the Foundation for its magnanimity and prayed God to continue to open doors for the people behind the Foundation.
