The defection of senator Mutapha of Niger north senatorial district's has been celebrated by the members and the executives of the PDP,

PDP members said that his defection is a welcome development to the PDP and a front burner to developmental strides.

He therefore asserted categorically clear that APC is a conglomeration of power mongers who have no agenda for good except aggrandizements and Draconian idiology adding that the party has impoverished the masse unprecedentedly.

There, it held a two-day holistic empowerment programme for about 100 traumatized women. The programme included skills training, mentorship, trauma psycho-support, and advocacy.
