GIZO LEADS PPA TO COMMISERATE WITH ACCOUNTANT GENERAL OVER DEMISE OF YOUNGER BROTHER.


Chief Amos Y.Gizo, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Plateau Publishers Association as well as the Chairman of the PPA led the BOT,Executive Council and the entire 24-member body on a condolence visit to the Plateau State Accountant General, Dr Cyril Tsenyil, over the death of his younger brother Mr John Tsenyil on Sunday, 23rd May, 2021 in a motor accident along Panyam-Shendam road.


In his remarks, Chief Gizo said the PPA was deeply saddened by the demise of John Tsenyil at his prime and pray that the Lord Almighty rest his soul and comfort his wife, two children, the Accountant General and the entire family over the irreparable loss.

Gizo urged the family to take solace in the fact that as members of the faith, he is resting in the bosom of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and be comforted.


He said Publishers are not only concerned with agenda setting but the well being of Nigerians, hence the reason for the sympathy visit.

The Chief Mourner and the brother of the deceased, Dr Cyril Tsenyil thanked the PPA for their friendship and their support for the Governor Simon Bako Lalong administration thus far.He said the members of the PPA have stood by him and the family since the unfortunate incident.He said the PPA have remain true friends indeed.


In a similar vain, the Vice Chancellor of the Plateau State University Bokkos, Prof Yohanna Daniel Izam on a condolence visit urged the Accountant General to see the death of his brother as the handiwork of our creator which can not be questioned. The VC prayed for comfort and a successful burial for the deceased.

The wives of Permanent Secretaries, led by the wife of the Head of the Plateau State Civil Service, Mrs Sunday Hyat, also visited and consoles with the Accountant General and the entire family.

Pastor Emi Amos Ossai, the Editor in Chief of the National Crusader prayed for the entire family.
