HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM PLATEAU PUBLISHERS ASSOCIATION!

On behalf of myself and the entire members of Plateau Publishers Association, I heartily felicitate with the Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen OFR KSG, as she attains age 62.
Honourable Minister, we commend your giant strides in the struggle for the fight against rape,  domestic violence against women and girl-child marriage. And also the domestication of Violence Against Persons Prohibition Bill (VAPP) and child-rights Act; enthronement of girl-child education and launching of the internationally recognised HeforShe, and giving of awards to well deserved persons
Suffice me to mention the proposed distribution of 774 000 cooking gas cylinders to the 774 local government areas of the country in which four states have so far been cleared as a fight against green emission to curb climate change.
Your ministerial style, commitment and hard work are projecting Plateau State in good light at the national level and thus; making you an excellent ambassador of our dear state.

I wish you more sound health, divine wisdom and knowledge as you discharge your national assignment.

A 3-man panel of Judges of the Tribunal, led by Hon. Justice Cordelia Ogadi upheld that there is no any substantial evidence before the tribunal that senator Mwadkwon forged First School Leaving Certificate and the West African School Certificate.

Following the resolution of the leadership of the Indigenous Forum of Presidents and Secretaries of Bassa and Jos North LGAs that the indigenes of the aforementioned LGAs vote the candidate of Labor Party, Hon Daniel Asama for House of Representatives Bassa/Jos North in the forthcoming Bye-Election in Plateau.,the National President of Irigwe Development Association (IDA), Prince Robert Ashi Dodo has keyed into the resolution and called on Rigwe people to follow the same path and vote Hon Daniel Asama of Labor Party in the Saturday February 3,2024 rerun election.  The president enjoins Rigwe people to ensure they turn out en masse in order to excise their civic rights.  PRO, IDA 2/2/2024

THE LONG GAMAI OF GAMAI NATION, HRH MISKOOM MARTIN MUDU'UTRIE SHALDAS III, HAS ADVOCATED FOR A MORE ROBUST MEANS OF UNITY AMONG THE SUB GAMAI GROUP

The Long Gamai of Gamai Nation, HRH Miskoom Martin Mudu'utrie Shaldas III, has advocated for a more robust means of unity among the sub Gamai groups. Miskoom Shaldas III, made the call on Sunday October 27, 2024; when the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Gamai Bible Translation and Gamai Literacy Project, Nda Noetsen Kevin Kwaplong, led members of the Board and the organizers of Dedication, Presentation and Launching of the Gamai Bible and Literacy Project after the Thanksgiving Mass, organized by the Central Working Committee, led by Nda Kurnajam Joseph Ari; held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Shendam, Plateau State.
