The Hon. Commissioner Ministry For Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs Plateau State - Hon. Silvanus Dankano Tapgun made critical Observations by law, clearing the air around speculations of the State Governor His Excellence Rt. Hon. Dr. Barr. Simon Bako Lalong meddling around with Local Government funds to finance critical sectors in government.

Thursday 14th January 2021, The Commissioner in appreciation and Welcome, entertained the Plateau Publishers Association (PPA) and its members at the Ministries Conference Hall.
Cognitive to the above mentioned, the Hon. Commissioner explained on grounds of Law that percentages were agreed that some Local Government funds be used to fund the activities of Plateau State University (PLASU), BOKKOS and the likes of Operation Rainbow which is to aid Growth and Development in the State. This was agreed and passed to law by the Plateau State House of Assembly.

Adding up to shade more light, Hon Silvanus Dankano Tapgun made reference to the #30,000 Minimum Wage saying, Governor Lalong did not ascribe "Governor Alart" to himself, the very Workers did. Governor Simon B. Lalong paid salaries meant to be Paid.

Moreover, monies allocated to the Local Government are realised directly from Abuja, how does Lalong get involved in the meddling? He gives what belongs to his people.
