With the rising security challenges we face today, our armed forces have worked so hard and have become the thin line that have separated us from death and destruction at the hands of terrorists and other threats to our national security.

Many of them have paid the supreme price to protect the sovereignty of Nigeria and my family and I are grateful to the men and women of the Nigerian armed forces for their sacrificial commitment to the nation.

Therefore, on this Armed Forces Remembrance Day, I urge all people of Riyom Local Government Area to spare time to celebrate our military to whom we owe so much.

May God bless the Nigerian Army, Air-force, Navy and all our security services.
