Plateau State will continue to support progrmmes that have direct impact on the Health and well being of citizens.
 State Commissioner of Information and Communication Dan Manjang stated this recently when he recieve Advocacy Communication and social mobilisation committee on Turberculoses and Malaria in his office at the JD Gomwalk Secratariat, Jos.
 Manjang describe thier work as a noble one, timeless and risky that requires huge sacrifice.
The Commissioner call on the committee to generate an informative content for use on media platforms to create awarness against the spread of the diseases. He assured the Committee of the Ministrys colaboration in the area of sensitisation and advocacy beyond government media Houses.

Spokes person of the Committee Rev.Christober Damcher said the Committee members drawn from all works of life has the mandate of sensitizing the public on Tuberculoses he added that if enough Education is not given people will continually die of this illment mostly Children.
 
In a similar courtecy the Plateau State chapter of the International Federation Women Lawyers (FIDA) in collaboration with National Human Right Commission (NURC) Plateau State, led by thier Leaders Mary Izam and Veronica Abe were also at the Commissioner's office to seek for support in the fight against Gender based violence.
 
FIDA President, Mary Izam noted that the 2020 campaign is to call for global action to increase awareness and to galvanise advocacy effort and shared knowledge and innovations towards curbing the menace of Gender violence against Women.

On her part leader of the National Human Right Commission, Veronica Abe explain that many people do not know that they have rights and when their rights are violated they dont know where to seek redress.
Responding State Commissioner of Information and Communication Dan Manjang express worry over the condition of which some women and Girls are being subjected to abuse, Manjang assured both group that the Ministry will partner with them in creating awareness and sensitisation across its media partners.

A 3-man panel of Judges of the Tribunal, led by Hon. Justice Cordelia Ogadi upheld that there is no any substantial evidence before the tribunal that senator Mwadkwon forged First School Leaving Certificate and the West African School Certificate.
