NCPC to Partner With TEKAN
The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission NCPC, Rev. Yakubu Pam has said that the Commission would partner with Tarayar Ekklisiyoyin Kristi a Nigeria (TEKAN) during the 2020 Pilgrimage exercise to Israel, Rome and Greece.
He disclosed this during a courtesy visit by the Executive of the TEKAN FCT Clergy at the NCPC Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.
Rev. Pam explained that the leadership of TEKAN has been very supportive morally and prayerfully.
According to him, “I feel at home with you and we will collaborate with TEKAN as regards the issues of proper leadership for pilgrims during pilgrimage”.
The NCPC boss further stressed that the Leadership of TEKAN has created a good image for the church in the North. In his words, “TEKAN Pastors have given us a good image in Nigeria”.
He urged them to continually be the light of the Church and to all the Christians in Nigeria. According to him, “you are the light that cannot be hidden”. “Show them the light”, he added.
Earlier, the Leader of the TEKAN FCT Clergy, Bishop Benjamin Fuduta, congratulated the Executive Secretary for his well-deserved appointment.
He assured the NCPC boss of their support in order to achieve the mandate of his appointment.
He explained that TEKAN is a fellowship of fifteen churches across the country and eleven denominations in Abuja with its headquarters in Jos.
