THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN SHANDAM LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA DISBURSES PALLIATIVES TO CUSHION THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC

The Executive Chairman Shendam local Government Area. Hon. Miskoom Alex Naantuam,

Hon. Kwapfuan livinus James, flanked by Hon. Chrisantus Ahmadu, (Commissioner and Attorney General of Plateau State) Hon Sylvanus Tapgun (Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy affairs)  were  at Shendam to flag off the distribution of  2554 bags of rice, 30 bags of Millet, and 20 bags of Sugar, as palliatives to the  poorest of the poor and vulnerable households within Shendam L.G.A  to compliment the State and Local Government efforts in cushioning the economic impact of the Covid19 Pandemic.

In thier separate remarks they enjoined all traditional rulers and leaders in various wards in Shendam L.G.A  to keep an eye on the distribution to ensure that only people who qualify get the palliatives.

The Executive Chairman in his wisdom also advised and made clear that the deadly disease is friend to No One, so the people should Avoid Crowded areas (Social Distancing), Aways wash their hands, make use of hand sanitizers and above all STAY SAFE.

NCDC BOARD, MANAGEMENT CONDOLE MD/CEO DR. CYRIL YILTSEN TSENYIL OVER THE LOSS OF UNCLE, MISKOOM PIUS NKUP YILBIAL.  The Chairman, Members of the Governing Board, Management, and Staff of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) extend their heartfelt condolences to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, on the passing of his beloved eldest uncle, Miskoom Pius Nkup Yilbial, who departed this life at the age of 88.
